Cornell Club of Cape Cod

WELCOME !

To Cornellians Living on Cape Cod or from "Over the Bridges".

The purpose of the Cornell Club of Cape Cod is to strengthen the Cornell presence on the Cape & Islands and to foster fellowship among all Cornellians and others connected to Cornell in our area. We are your link to Cornell - a conduit for information from Cornell.

We welcome all of you - Cornell alumni and your spouses, Cornell students and your parents and everyone else with an interest in Cornell - to join us in fulfilling our purpose.

The club plans from 8 to 10 gatherings each year for lunch or dinner at different area restaurants with a speaker of interest or special entertainment. Please join us for one of these events and meet with a new group of friends sharing a common university heritage.

Scholarship Awards

Scholarship Chairman Rich Wolf '60 announced that three awards of $1,000 each have been made to William Erhard '08 Architecture of Marston Mills, Sara Kugler '11 Human Ecology of Brewster, and Kyle Traub '11 Agriculture of North Eastham. We sincerely thank all alumni and friends of the Club who continue to donate and support the Cape Cod Club Scholrship fund; increased giving and matching funds made it possible for us to increase our awards in both number and dollar amount this year.

CAAAN - Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network

Chaired by Michael Mathewson '88, the Cape & Islands CAAAN Committee has the responsibility of contacting propective students in high schools on the Cape & Islands in the fall and winter as requested by the Cornell Admissions Office. The meetings are an opportunity for the students to make personal contact during the college application process, but are not considered "interviews". More information about CAAAN is available on the Cornell website: caaan.admissions.cornell.edu. If you would like to participate in the Cape & Islands CAAAN Committee, please contact Mike.
